Agent shortcode allows you to insert agents list in 3 layout: Carousel or Grid or List .
Before displaying the real estate agents in Agent module, you need to create agents in the corresponding section of the admin panel or register to be agent from frontend. Check the Agent Management section of the knowledge base for more information.
There are a variety of options available with each Shortcode in ERE and are integrated smoothy with WP Bakery Page Builder plugin. These screenshots of this shortcode below are captured in Visual Composer platform. You can consult our online documentation for more details on how ERE shortcode workflow.
- Narrow Agency – enter or choose the agency to be displayed narrow agents in the module.
- Layout Style – Select layout style between 3 preset styles:
- Carousel: agents are displayed in carousel layout. Once you chose this layout, Carousel tab will be displayed as below:
- Grid: the agents are displayed in grid layout.
- List: the agents are displayed as list.
- Items Amount – set the items amount for the agents to display on your site.
- Image size – select the size of the image to be displayed. You may select full size, thumbnail or custom size and specify the sizes for the image.
- Column – this field will be displayed when you have chose Grid layout. Enter column number of agents to be displayed in grid.
- Show paging – Check this box to show paging for Grid layout and List layout.
- Extra class name – enter our own unique class name for the item – this is a useful option for those who want to create a specific style. E.g.: you can type custom-style class and then go to Theme options -> Custom CSS & Script -> Custom CSS field and write your own CSS code with this class to get your own style.
- Items Desktop Small – set the number of column properties to be displayed in the browser that has width < 1199.
- Items Tablet – set the number of column properties to be displayed in the browser that has width < 992.
- Items Tablet Small – set the number of column properties to be displayed in the browser that has width < 768.
- Items Mobile – set the number of column properties to be displayed in the browser that has width < 480.
How to add Agent shortcode on your archive page if your theme does not have WP Bakery Page Buider plugin.
Some themes may not install WP Bakery Page Builder (Visual Composer) plugin. Not to worry you are still able to add Agent shortcode to your listing archive pages easily using Add ERE Real Estate Shortcode button above the editor.
Once shortcode options are setup, there are the shortcode parameters of Agent will be shown in the editor. E.g:
